Stu's (Josh's) life starts light years ago in a little town called Shelton, Connecticut. His singing career didn't really start to take off until he purchased a shower radio in 7th grade and had his debut solo remix of "Summer Girls." Although his dancing skills (which were also mastered in the shower) are quite comparable to his singing, Stu decided to stick with the latter of the two.

Despite what many people think, he did little singing in high school, but was captivated on his Admitted Student's Day at the University of Vermont by UVM's one and only all-male A Capella group, The Top Cats. Stu finished his four years at UVM with a major in Debauchery and a minor in Plant and Soil Science. Still searching for that special someone, Stu resorted to buying a puppy in hopes that some lovely lass might think it was cute.

Stu has very little intention of getting old fast and just wants to give a shout out to his peeps. When he joined up with Overboard, his name was changed from Josh since there already was one. After several hours of heated debate, it was finally decided that his name be changed to Stu.
