New Things To Come In 2017

Many of you have asked if Overboard is still together, given we don’t have any public shows on our calendar.  We can assure you we very much are!  To be honest, we’ve been doing a lot of corporate work these days.  It’s the best and easiest way for us all to get together while we’re living across the country from one another.  Please stay updated, as we have plans for 2017 that we know you are all going to love!

Welcome Sam and Tracy

Overboard-promo1After a long search for a permanent lineup, we have finally found the members we’ve been looking for.  We’d like to introduce you to Berklee College of Music graduates Sam Fischer and Tracy Robertson.  Sam and Tracy are both members of 2014 ICCA international champions Pitch Slapped, where Sam was awarded Best Solo and Tracy was awarded Best Vocal Percussion.  We’ve been working hard with them now for a few months and we’ve never been more excited about the future of Overboard.  We hope you’ll find the time to come out to one of our shows in the upcoming months to see the new lineup and meet Sam and Tracy!

The Sing-Off Returns! CASA’s Season 4 short list

Psyched to find out we were included on the Contemporary Society for America’s casting short list for Season 4 of NBC’s The Sing-Off, alongside a bunch of other talented groups and many good friends.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Pedigree: at least a few TSO alums (Nick Girard, Johanna Vinson, Eric Morrissey)

Why they’re contenders: stellar arrangements mostly by Girard, powerhouse vocals by all members, lots of recent touring should make for an incredibly gelled group, great energy and guys-with-one-girl lineup.”

Not bad, right? Check out the whole list here:
