Overboard was thrilled to continue its involvement with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this past weekend. We were all so impressed by the dedication and commitment shown by the athletes and their families. Congratulations to everyone involved in this great event!
Coordinated by the Avon Foundation, the Walk raises money for awareness, education and treatment initiatives in the fight against breast cancer. Learn more about the Avon Foundation and find out how you can get involved by visiting the Avon Foundation website.

Tune in to New Hampshire Public Television (NHPTV) this Sunday (May 4th) at 7:00pm to see us perform a couple of songs in support of the PBS Spring Auction. We donated a one-hour performance to the Golden Gavel Auction and encourage you to support PBS with your bids and donations.
Overboard placed 3rd at the 2008 Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival. Thanks to all of our fans who came out to support us that night! Our congrats to 5-Alone and Syncopation who were the 1st runner-up and champion, respectively.

Overboard is proud to be involved in Boston’s annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We performed at the Avon Walk Expo at the B.U. Fitness & Recreation Center 12:00-3:00 on Saturday, March 15 and will be appearing during the weekend of the walk starting at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 18th at UMass Boston.

Nick was recently interviewed by Deirdre Fleming from the Portland Press Herald. During the interview, Nick discussed the origins of Overboard, the understanding and appreciation of a cappella in general, and the group’s recent success through the Boyz II Men A Cappella Quest.

We had a great time singing (all day) at the Central Mass Show Choir festival this past Saturday, Feb 2. The excitement and energy we felt from the audiences for all 3 showcases were incredible and definitely helped us get through the day! Thank you so much for your kind words, support, questions, and flowers.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take any pictures of our performances or of the group with the fans. We’d really appreciate it if you could send along any pictures (or videos) you have so that we could add them on our gallery. If you have pictures that you’d be willing to send us, please email them to Scott. His email can be found on his bio page (we’d post it here, but we he doesn’t want to get spam!). He’ll thank you and put them up on the gallery.
Thanks again!
Emily Young wrote a nice piece about Overboard and our recent accomplishment of being a Top 5 finalist in the CBS Early Show’s A Cappella Quest competition. Follow the link below to read the see the write-up.
We’re happy to announce that we’ve made our full, uncut recording of Gravity (off of our sophomore album Stranded) available for free download from our Music page! We wanted to give you something for all your support and figured that music would be a good choice. Check back in the future as we put more music up your downloading pleasure.
Thanks and enjoy!
We’d like to congratulate Mosaic for winning the CBS Early Show A Cappella Quest competition hosted by Boyz II Men. This morning, Boyz II Men announced the winning group live on the Early Show. Even though we didn’t win, we were still extremely excited to have been selected as a Top 5 finalist. It was also quite an experience being critiqued by Boyz II Men. Ryan’s wounds will heal in a few days once he realizes that Boyz II Men critiqued him - Ryan Sterling - live, in front of a ton of households across America. It’s still publicity, right?
Congratulations also to Hookslide, BoRhap and On Call for making it to the Top 5 as well.
Check out what Boyz II Men had to say about us:
