April was awesome for Overboard

We’re not ones to brag but, April has been a pretty awesome month for us. It all started April 1st when we won our second CARA (Best Religious Song for “Amazing Grace”) and were awarded two runners-up CARAs (Best Jazz Song for “Toxic” and Best Hip Hop/R&B song for “Used To Love U”). Then, in addition to winning the Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Festival, we also won the Judge’s Prize for Best Arrangement (“All For Love”) and the Audience Favorite Award. Later that week, we received 10 ACA Nominations, including some individual ones for Nick, Scott and Fredo.

Overboard Productions has been having a pretty oustanding month as well. On top of tracking incredibly talented college a cappella groups like the Yale Whiffenpoofs and the Brown Derbies, Overboard Productions produced a track called “Royal Romance” for the University of St. Andrews’ The Other Guys. The video for “Royal Romance” has gone viral, with 350,000 views in two weeks and a featured spot on the Today Show.

Hard to imagine what May has in store.
