Scott was born years ago in a hospital. He started growing in height almost immediately and continued to do so over the course of the first three quarters or so of his life, finally reaching the fairly respectable height of 5'7".

Scott's love and appreciation for music also grew during that time. He started as a piano player at 7, switching his focus to the trombone at the age of 10 in his later (elementary school) years. He continued his work with the trombone through middle school into high school, where he also became involved with singing in the school's show choir. His love for a cappella came after seeing a college group at a music festival. In college, his focus shifted from trombone to singing when he joined the Clark Bars - Clark University's co-ed a cappella group - of which he was a member for 5 years.

During the days when he's not singing with Overboard, Scott is a full-time web designer. During the nights when he's not singing with Overboard, he stays up way too late and then eventually goes to sleep.
