Thanks to everyone who participated in the free download of Help! We were overwhelmed by the positive responses we received, especially on Facebook, Twitter and the RARB forums. A special thanks to those of you who donated to the Help! Overboard fund; we’re really looking forward to an exciting 2010 and every little bit definitely helps (sorry, that pun is just way too easy) as we try to reach our goals.

If you missed the free album download, we will be giving away a few tracks on the Help! album page soon. In the meantime, though, check us out on iTunes!

New Recording Project…

This past weekend, Overboard “broke ground” on our latest album project by recording rough tracks of the first few songs. While we’re not at liberty to discuss any of the details (top secret and all that jazz), we can disclose that it is our biggest project to date and that it will be ready for your enjoyment in the next few months. Oh, also, it’s good. Real good.

Overboard on the River 92.5

This year, Christmas came a day early for Overboard.

On December 24, 92.5 WXRV The River featured the song “Happy Christmas” from Tidings, in conjunction with their Homegrown Music Series, a highlight of local Boston artists.

This recognition was particularly meaningful, as “Happy Christmas” features a group of children from nearby Marblehead, MA. Many thanks to them and to their director Amanda Roeder for helping us orchestrate the collaboration.

Thank you to Irene and The River team for the recognition, it was an excellent Christmas present!
