After a long search for a permanent lineup, we have finally found the members we’ve been looking for. We’d like to introduce you to Berklee College of Music graduates Sam Fischer and Tracy Robertson. Sam and Tracy are both members of 2014 ICCA international champions Pitch Slapped, where Sam was awarded Best Solo and Tracy was awarded Best Vocal Percussion. We’ve been working hard with them now for a few months and we’ve never been more excited about the future of Overboard. We hope you’ll find the time to come out to one of our shows in the upcoming months to see the new lineup and meet Sam and Tracy!
In addition to working with talented young vocalists, we’ll also be performing alongside Grammy winner and seven-time Grammy nominee, Paula Cole. We couldn’t ask for a better way to kick off the final Northeast leg of the Monkey Pony Tour!

Psyched to find out we were included on the Contemporary Society for America’s casting short list for Season 4 of NBC’s The Sing-Off, alongside a bunch of other talented groups and many good friends.
Here’s what they had to say:
“Pedigree: at least a few TSO alums (Nick Girard, Johanna Vinson, Eric Morrissey)
Why they’re contenders: stellar arrangements mostly by Girard, powerhouse vocals by all members, lots of recent touring should make for an incredibly gelled group, great energy and guys-with-one-girl lineup.”
Not bad, right? Check out the whole list here: http://bit.ly/12f7QqY.
In anticipation of our return to Somerville’s Center for Arts at the Armory this weekend, Nick sat down with writer Nick Cox. See what the two Nicks came up with here: http://bit.ly/16uJlXw.
Well, we’re in Austin for South by Southwest and it’s… crazy. So many people, all full of passion for music, film, art, BBQ, everything. It’s such an inspiration to be here and to have the chance to share our music with y’all.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support us at our shows. Hope we can return to TX soon!
Even more than a talented artist, Michael is also an incredible educator: his workshops, “Feeling Music” and “Seeing Music” are both moving and masterful. We’re so honored to be able to work with Michael and to count him as a friend. Looking forward to seeing him again in a few weeks in San Antonio, TX!

It’s that time of year again! Collegiate groups everywhere are starting to work on their new albums and we’re pumped to be working with some brand new clients this season and reuniting with some old ones. Even better, Eric’s joined the Overboard Productions team as a tracking engineer. Hope he’s ready for 10 weeks of no sleep and no sun. Then again, he looks pretty happy here recording the first round of tracks for the UVM Cat’s Meow’s newest album. We think he’ll make it.
Keep an eye out for the Meow’s latest release, due out in May.
