Joe started playing taking piano lessons in 6th grade but then quit after 3 months and decided to teach himself. He tried to pick up any other instruments he could get his hands on including accordion, bass, guitar, saxophone and violin to name a few, but some of them were too heavy and he just couldn't lift them.

He started singing in a band that he joined in high school. He then went on to Wheaton College where he graduated in 2006. During his time at Wheaton, he was a member of the Gentlemen Callers (all-male) a cappella group for 3 years. He acted as music director of the group for 2 of those years.

Joe's biggest musical influences, aside from Scott, are Elton John, Billy Joel, and Jason Mraz. When he's not singing, he likes to hear Jheash sing.

At the end of writing his bio, Joe got a little bored. We hope that he writes more soon.
